So, we had general admission tickets which meant we were on the floor...I really shouldn't have worn boots...but we got there early and we were so excited because we were like right in the middle and only about 4 feet from center stage. BUT, then all the people started showing up and filling in and pretty soon we were getting squished beyond belief. I felt like a sardine, we were all sweaty and crammed next to all these weird people. I was actually scared a couple of times because people were pushing so hard that we almost fell down. Not the best idea being pregnant and all, but we had no idea how crazy it would be. We toughed it out for about an hour and a half through the opening band and finally Vanilla Ice came out. 
We were seriously sooo close, it was pretty cool, even if it was torture at times! Here's a crowd surfer right next to us.
We got some good pics and then decided to get out of the craziness. We found an area where we could breath and dance around to finish off the concert. There were so many people dressed up all crazy...I kinda felt like I was at an 80's party...here's just a few of the crazies.
Here's a little video of MC Hammer singin Too Legit To Quit. He had some good dancers and did a good job. He also of course sang Hammer Time and You've Got to Pray Just to Make it Today. It was fun, we didn't get home until 3am and I decided that I'm a little too old for that, being prego and all...good memories though, you gotta have a girls night out every once in awhile! Here we are after the concert taking a break, feeling pretty tired. Word To Your Mutha!!!

I'm so Jealous Dev!! That looks like so much fun. I know what you mean about being too old for that stuff. ha! ur old:) I heard that concert being advertized and thought it would be a blast. K- we were in SLC this weekend for the 3A basketball tourney. Nick was at Denny's in West Valley with the team and who do they see- Yeah Vanilla Ice. I laughed when I heard that, of all the places to eat and where does he go really... Denny's in West Valley.
Classic Dev! I'm way jealous, not only of the sweet outfits I'm sure you saw, or the amazing dance moves, or even the music, but also of the fun girls night out! You really do need those every once in a while! I'm glad you had so much fun, and that you made it back from the past:)
I must admit that I'm 100% jelous!!! What a fun concert!!! I wouldn't expect it to get so crazy but Hey...it is MC Hammer!:)
No way Dev! Taylor wanted to go to this concert so bad!! I am sure you had so much fun with all the ladies! Whenever I hear Vanilla ice I always think of Platte at the lipsink contest in high school ha! Hope your feeling good! I know I am just wanting to not be pregnant anymore.....kind of old! You are stinkin cute prego though! I just blow up EVERYWHERE!!! Love ya
