Then we went to our city's Easter egg hunt, it was freezing that morning, ice on the grass, so we didn't take Demsey. There were tons of kids and at first Radley just thought it was a race, flying by all the eggs as fast as he could go. But, he finally got the hang of it and made a haul. Then he got to sit with the kinda creepy looking Easter bunny, he wasn't sure about the bunny at first, but then he saw the candy and that's all it took.

Then we went to another HUGE Easter egg hunt and party with Storm and her husbands family. There were sooo many eggs hidden, it was lots of fun for the kids. Here's Rad with his cousins Rylee and Quincee. I'm glad they live so close now because Radley looks out the window and wants them to come to his house all the time.

Then we celebrated Easter morning at our house with Storm's family. It was a weekend full of fun, food, family and the gospel, what could be better? Demsey really loved playing with the plastic eggs and all the shiny candy wrappers.
This past week was Chris' spring break. We got some things done around the house that we needed to and then we went for on this cool hike. It was a fairly warm day even though the second half of the hike was in the snow. The hike ended at this awesome waterfall. The ice was melting and falling off while we were there which was way cool. Chris packed Rad in a hiking backpack and I had Demsey in a front carrier. Luckily Chris' cousins were with us and they took a turn packing the kids, it was hard work packing another person, my legs were so sore for a few days! I guess it tired the kiddos out too because they both fell asleep before we got back down the mountain.

I guess we were just wishing it was a warm spring break and we went camping with Chris' cousins too. I'm not gonna lie, it was freezing and pretty miserable, especially with kids, but we toughed it out. The things I do for my husband, I tell ya. We did do some fishing and shot guns, which was fun...I think we'll wait a few months for the next camping trip. Maybe when the snow has melted and the campgrounds are officially open, that might be a good idea.

I agree it was tooooo early for camping. Glad you didn't freeze those cute little bunnies, but with Chris as their day, there will never be a dull moment! Thanks for the pictures. Love you all, Grandma Colleen
Nice post. I didn't know we got such a good pic of the waterfall. That was a really fun week and we'll remember the warm feelings much more than the cold weather:), right? Thanks for being such a sport! Love your man.
