Blanding & St. George

We went to Blanding a couple of weekends ago to surprise my Dad for his 60th birthday. Storm came up with the idea to have a big surprise party and I helped her plan it. We also made a DVD with pictures of my Dad's whole life put to music. This is a pic of Dad watching it, he was crying the whole time, which of course made me cry the whole time. We were lucky the party worked out because Dad had to get a total knee replacement and got home from the hosptial just in time for the party. Everyone but Kyle and Val were able to come and we had a blast together. There's a picture of a bunch of us, and that was only half of the room...we are a big group but we have lots of fun. I love you Dad, Happy Birthday! My Dad is a big teddy bear and I love him so much and have so many good memories.

While we were in Blanding we went to the Dinosaur Museum. Radley loves dinosaurs and he had a ball. We even bought a season pass...I guess we'll be going to the dino museum every time we go to Blanding! Hopefully Demsey learns to likes dinos cause she was pretty freaked by them this time around.

I love this picture, Radley the Raptor

I thought I'd take a few pictures of the kiddos in the pretty tulips in our backyard. Leave it to Radley to pull goofy faces...and to ruin the flowers in the process :)

We got to go to St. George with our neighbors the Smoots whose parents have a huge house there. It was a fun, relaxing weekend. We drove together, here's a picture of the babies sitting by each other keeping each other company. We went to Zion's one day and did a bunch of hiking, it was really beautiful there, we'd never been before. Then we spent another day in St. George shopping, eating and walking around. It was a blast...thanks Smoots!

We are so excited that the weather is starting to warm up. Radley spends the majority of his days in the backyard now and Demsey is turing into a mini Radley, loving to be outside and in the dirt. Although, she usually ends up eating a few handfuls. Chris only has about 17 days of school left and we are so excited for summer!!! We have TONS of fun things planned, it will be a busy summer but soo much fun!

Devan,
Oh my goodness, Demsey looks so much like you in the picture where she is sitting in the rock!

I love the Demsey in the rock pic. Her hand gesture are the best, like she's orchestrating some magic or something. Love my fam-BAM!
